Where the Rubber Meets the Road!!!

>>> MOST CHRISTIANS, MUSLIMS, JEWS, AND OTHER RELIGIONISTS

Believe that prayer WORKS!!!

And they pray for various things, some self-centeredly; some altruisitically. Some thank GOD they were spared a tornado or shoot-out at a grade school.

But consider the Homeopaths -- those who practice Homeopathy:

ho·me·op·a·thy
ˌhōmēˈäpəTHē/
noun
  1. the treatment of disease by minute doses of natural substances that in a healthy person would produce symptoms of disease.

This is also true of  FAITH HEALERS and other "prayer quacks". This is where Christians, Muslims, and Jews (and some others) are FORCED to admit they DON'T believe prayer works AT ALL!!!

If they believed it did, they would be able to help Ebola victims with only prayer to protect them. Now, it is EASY for them to console those with more usual illnesses, which people with good immune systems are unlikely to catch. Doctors and nurses (scientists), do this all the time.

But will you see any of these people assisting those with Ebola virus???

Roman Catholic Pope Francis I (one of the best talkers, at least).

Katharine Jefforts Schori, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, USA (the other main Christian group in the USA who believes gnawing on the literal flesh of their savior is in GOOD TASTE!!!

Sheikh Adel al Kalbani is a top Saudi Imam. Muslims are anything but unified (like Christians).

Pinchas Goldschmidt, head of the Conference of European Rabbis

No, not even Franklin and BILLY GRAHAM would risk their life on PRAYER!!!

It's just a TAX-FREE BUSINESS of selling:

>>> DISCLAIMER: Prayer DOES have psychological benefits and can be useful in treating SPIRITUAL ILLNESS OF ONESELF!!!

  • Scott Kenan Jim: Please wise up. Genealogy sites on the web document everyone's birth and death info. Some are FREE, but the biggest, Ancestry.com (or similar), a division of the Mormon Church so they can document and Mormon-Baptize everyone eventually, can be subscribed to by anyone. I don't think they did it to aid criminals (both inside and outside government), but that is an effect. Surely you've heard of THE LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES, no???

  • Scott Kenan Your actions are your business, but your apparent assumption that Patrick (or someone else), is doing this to collect that data seems a touch paranoid to me. Subscriptions that yield HUGE amounts of such info are cheap. To each his or her OWN!!!

Mormon depiction of Jesus in Mexico

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon tells of the resurrected Jesus Christ and His visit to His faithful followers in ancient America. After His visits to His disciples in the Old World, He descended out of heaven and appeared to His followers in ancient America.
The Book of Mormon describes how, during His visit, Jesus Christ healed their sick, taught them His gospel, blessed their children, and called twelve disciples to organize His Church in the Americas (3 Nephi 11:183 Nephi 12:1-2).

mormon underwear
Web definitions
  1. A temple garment is a type of underwear worn by a vast majority of adherents of the Latter Day Saint movement, after they have taken part in the Endowment ceremony.

Do YOU think that ceremony worked for Mitt???
