Did YOU Know That I Live ON (my house built 50 years after her 1804 birth), or Next-Door to Where Whistler's Mother was BORN??? I Didn't -- Until TODAY!!!

That is Kenan Steeple -- "Tallest-in-Town!!!" -- of First Presbyterian Church pokin' (a little off target), toward that poor lady's "nether zones".

And atop Kenan Steeple -- "Tallest-in-Town" -- is "The Six-Foot Kenan Cock" -- as ONLY the congregants call this wake-up call Rooster, symbol of the Reformation:

And that historical marker, placed in 1976, is in front of Boney Hall of First Presbyterian Complex, which according to its plaque was a gift of the Kenan Family -- as well as is the Rococo Kenan Piano in Boney Hall.

So, one block east of that marker is EXACTLY on the property line between MY house and that of young lawyer Oliver Carter III of http://carterandcarterlaw.com/.

Oliver has been very friendly, except the last couple of months he has become "stand-offish" -- probably because he and his wife attend Christian Services -- but I don't know that for sure.

I DO KNOW that Oliver (or Carter & Carter Law), purchased a whole TABLE at the Democratic Party Unity Dinner where I sat at the table of Paul Lawler (the only candidate whose sign was on Oliver's yard last fall), and Mr. Lawler -- who seemed an attentive listener -- is the only NEW FACE on Wilmington City Council from that election. 

I have NO IDEA how he is doing, and need to start attending City Council Meetings ASAP!!!

My landlady claims my house is HAUNTED, but I've seen no evidence of ghosts myself. Maybe Mrs. Whistler is hanging out and is just TOO SHORT for me to notice, no???
